About Tsavo West

Discover Tsavo West

Tsavo West is wilder and more varied than its eastern neighbour, with volcanic cones, lava flows and rugged hills. On clear days you can see Kilimanjaro on the horizon.

At Mzima Springs, crystal-clear water bubbles up from underground, and an underwater viewing chamber lets you watch hippos and fish. The park is also home to the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, where black rhinos are protected.
