About Mount Kenya

Discover Mount Kenya

Mount Kenya is Africa’s second-highest mountain, rising to 5,199 metres. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with glaciers, lakes, moorland and dense forest on its lower slopes.

Climbers can trek to Point Lenana (4,985 m) over four to five days without technical gear. If you’d rather stay lower, the forest lodges offer night-time views of elephants, buffalo and forest antelopes at floodlit waterholes.
